FAVORITE APPS FOR PREGNANCY

Call me a bad mom-to-be but I never read “What to Expect When You’re Expecting”.  Sure I browsed it for a millisecond, but there were just too many words in small type.  Plus everything I needed to know came in an app.  Here are my favorites.

iPregnancy $4.99

Allows you to track your pregnancy from OB Visits to your weight, blood pressure, belly circumference and fetal heart rate.   It also gives you weekly information and facts on baby, mommy and daddy.  iPregnancy allows you to keep track of favorite names and tells you how popular the name is.  Don’t worry you creative types, it lets you add your own special name.

My Pregnancy FREE

Gives you daily updates on what to expect or do during your pregnancy.  Provides you with a “check list” of things to do; get a massage, write your birth plan, etc.  My Pregnancy also offers informative videos,  like viewing a natural birth vs a c section or using an epidural.  There’s also a “kick tracker” that helps you track your baby’s movement, which you’ll be asked to do.

Pregnancy Food No-Nos  FREE

Helps you figure out what you should and shouldn’t eat.  Take a gander, there’s so much more on the “no list” than you think!

These apps helped me get through my first pregnancy and more importantly enjoyed it.  I always knew what to expect when i was expecting 🙂 and I didn’t have to read a long boring encyclopedia.  Take that time and do something nice for yourself or find me on Draw Something!

What are some of your favorite apps?
