Swim or Lounge, but do it in Style

Spring is here which means summer is right around the corner, which means I should stop eating now.  Though it’s still cold in San Francisco and I’m still trying to lose my winter fat (forever) I can’t stop looking at swimwear and regretting that extra bite of pots de crème I had.  I was once told that nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.  I apparently disagree, but it doesn’t mean I don’t like looking at hot chicks in very little clothes, wet…  Below are some of my favorites.

I love that Retro High Waisted Bottoms are back in style.  Not only are they super cute, they hide that little pouch ;).

Painterly Two Piece Bather from Minnow Bathers, $135 image (copyright of Minnow Bathers)

High Waisted bottoms can be a bit overwhelming because there’s so much material.  These bottoms from Minnow Bathers are fun and the diagonal is slimming.

Betty Bandeau Top and Bottom from Tori Praver, $99 each (image copyright of Tori Praver)
Love these Bottom from Tori Praver.  They’re playful and fun and the texture compliments the print perfectly.

A Bikini never goes out of style, just the body that wears it 😉

Thistle Weave Underwire Bikini from Zimmermann, $200 (image copyright of Zimmermann)

I am obsessed with this bikini from Zimmermann.  Lets just say my trunk is full and my thighs thick and the wide band and graphic detail on the bottoms help to slim me.  The underwire in the top helps, um, enhance my lesser endowed lady lumps.

Underwire Bikini from Mara Hoffman, $168

I am  mad about Mara Hoffman’s swimwear.  I love what she does with prints and this season is no different.  The tribal look is totally hip for spring that this is a terrific translation into the summer.  The colors and pattern are vibrant, edgy and whimsical.   Love love love

Compression Bikini from VPL, $125 each (image copyright of Shopbop)

Here’s VPL at their best.  The gray-brown accents compliment the flourescent yellow beautifully in an otherwise overwhelming suit.  You won’t get lost in the crowd with this suit.

I love that one pieces are making a come back.  This is probably due to my age going up while my body parts go down.

Noir Lace One Piece from Zimmermann, $270 (image copyright of Zimmermann)

I adore this one piece from Zimmermann.  Its so sexy and romantic while covering up your entire body!

Can’t decide between  a bikini or one piece?  How about a monokini?  These suits are great to hide some tummy fat and helps to visually slim and elongate your body.

Mary Jane One Piece from Tori Praver, $144 (image copyright of Tori Praver)

Love Tori Pravers use of texture to add a little spice to this subtly sexy suit.

Lion Tamer One Piece from Red Carter, $143 (image copyright of Shopbop)

Appropriately named the Lion Tamer by Red Carter will bring anyone or animal to their knees.  This suit is anything but tame.

Macrame One Piece from Becca, $124 (image copyright of Victorias Secret)

How can you go wrong with a red monokini?  This one from Becca is super hot with the back macrame detail.
