Too Cute To Boot

Spring is here and you know what that means. Spring cleaning.  It’s time to get organized so you can bloom mentally and emotionally into a well-rounded human being, and you can’t do that in a cluttered house.  You know what they say, cluttered house, cluttered mind…  If you don’t believe me watch Horders on A&E.

My first task of the season is organizing my shoe collection or at least my boots.  Baby steps.  Boots are probably my favorite type of shoe.  They look great as flats, heels, wedges, knee-high, thigh high, ankle, booties…  They’re practical and stylish and I own a ton.

Now that Spring is here I have to store some of my boots, like my Loeffler Randall Rain Boots.  However, it’s San Francisco, so I need to make sure that they are readily accessible for rainy weeks like last week.  What is a girl to do?

Below is and easy solution to keep unruly boots organized.

Cut a piece of cardboard out about 6-8 inches wide.  The height will depend on the height of the boot shaft.  I like to cut it about 4 inches shorter than the top of the opening.  Bend cardboard in half vertically and insert into shaft.

Wa la!  Look how much more room I have.  You know what that means :D.

sorry about the pics.  still working on the camera thing.
